San Jose, CA - Kycon’s newest non-shielded surface mount modular jack features integrated SMT tabs for superior board retention, and is as such Kycon’s first true SMT modular jack. By eliminating the positioning pegs the modular jacks sits entirely on the PCB board thus requiring no drilling of holes. The true surface mount modular jack measures 11.50mm (0.453") in height and is intended for telecom and networking applications, such as NICs and hubs. This new non-shielded modular jack from Kycon is available in6, 8 and 10 positions. The body is made of black NY46 high temp plastic and the contacts are available with two types of gold plating: gold flash and 50u”.
